Because we want to craft the best for you, our Erythritol comes from a fermentation process using only non-GMO corn mimicking the natural fermentation that produces Erythritol in the wild. The resulting Erythritol is then purified, dried and sieved, resulting in crunchy, great tasting crystals.

Step 1: Harvesting
We start by harvesting the leaves from the field and then drying and crushing them to prepare them for Step 2 – Extraction.
Step 2: Extraction
As the name suggests, Stevia extracts are extracted from the dried and crushed Stevia leaves. This step allows us to selectively obtain only the very best-tasting extracts from the leaf, providing a natural sweetness without any of the bitterness commonly experienced with some other stevia extracts.
Step 3: Blending
As Stevia is 200 times sweeter than sugar, it cannot be used by itself so we blend our delicious stevia extracts with other ingredients sourced from nature like Erythritol and other ingredients such as apple extract to deliver a great tasting sweetness with little or no calories per serving.

Pure Via Baker’s Secret® Perfect Soft Brown Sugar Alternative is a versatile product, and due to the molasses content it is perfect for banana breads, chocolate-chip cookies, muffins or cakes. Can also be used in cooking when a slight spice and sweetness is desired, or melted with butter and blended to create a sweet glaze for barbeque, ham or vegetables. Whatever you plans, keep them sweet, simple & low sugar.
- Use enough fat in the recipe. Combining Pure Via Baker’s Secret® with ingredients like butter, heavy cream, or oils creates a rich mouthfeel that reduces the cooling effect
- Dissolve Pure Via Baker’s Secret® with any wet ingredients in your recipe before mixing it all together (could be milk, eggs, cream etc).
- Try it out in cold-temperature recipes (cheesecakes, ice creams, puddings and so on).
